OUR PASTORS

Pastors Earl and Jennifer Rice began their pastorate at New Beginnings Church in February 2015 after the wonderful founding pastors, JC and Jessie Neff answered God's call to take another church in Indiana.  Pastors Earl and Jennifer are excited for all that God has in store for New Beginnings and they seek God's plans and purposes for the Body of Christ.  They desire to see people get saved, their lives transformed, and to lead and guide the Body of Christ to fulfill God's call on their lives. Their call on New Beginnings and their ministry is to teach God’s children to hear from the Holy Spirit and to work alongside Him. They also desire to build churches in communities around the Effingham area in addition to building the church in Effingham. They currently have a second work in Clay City, IL with services on Friday evenings.

Pastor Earl Rice is a 1993 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, OK.  Pastor Jennifer Rice left a secular corporate career in October 2017 to join the ministry full-time.  She ministers, writes a blog, and works as the Administrator for New Beginnings.

They have two grown daughters (Pastor Jennifer's), Lakin and Mackenzie.  Lakin is married to Tyler and they have our favorite grandsons, Nolan and Warren. Lakin and family lives in Manchester IL.  Mackenzie is married to Chris and they have our sweet granddaughters, Eleanor and Amelia. Mackenzie and family live in Chatham, England.

Pastors Earl and Jennifer welcome you to New Beginnings Church and look forward to teaching, guiding, and loving you as you draw closer to and walk with the Lord.
